Parets against writing lines as punishment?

I would not be mad at all. If my child does the wrong thing in cl and is disruptive and disrespectful toward her teacher and clmates then i would say by all means punish her. I think you were bing pretty darn lenient. If i misbehaved at school and i was given lines to write, i tell you i never misbehaved again. Kudos to you i say. Some parents hear half the story and they misconstrue what their child says and then blow everything out of proportion.
