For me, music has a more profound effect. Movies tend to target specific emotions, seeking to make the viewer feel excited, scared, sad, happy, horny, etc. Music, on the other hand, leaves more room for emotions to emerge on their own. The same song might make one person happy, another deeply sad, and still another annoyed. Instrumental music can be even more profound, as lyrics don't get in the way. A minor or major chord, lush layerings of melody and harmony, and variations in rhythm resonate, for me, in a deeper way than image and dialogue.

Allergies in a 1 year old?

My daughter just turned one on July 20. She has been really congested so I took her to the doctor for her one year check up and he said it is not in her chest it is in the back of her throat. 1991 honda prelude not starting?

i own a 1991 honda prelude and the o ring went out in the distr. well i took the distr. out....cleaned it...and replaced the o ring.....installed it back into my car and now it will not start at all... it tried then it just cranks....so i replaced the distr. thinking the pick up coil went out....well did the same thing... tried to start then nothen.....i checked the timming and its fine....i replaced all plugs and wires and still nothen but the same....if u let it set for a while itll try to start then just cranks and cranks....what happened here...what can be cuasen this.....???? i tried usen starting fluid and still nothen....i tried holden it flat to the floor and it still does nothen......no back fire no nothen.....well b 4 i did any thing to the car it ran fine....but.....after a while it can b 5 mins or 5 hours some times.....the check engine light would come on and it would be really harsh letting off the gas...then when u gave it gas it would jump rpm's.....i could hold it at 2000 rpms and it would loop back down then up until u got to like 3500 rpms then would stop...... then sometimes it would act like water in the gas....so what happened here all i did was mess with the distr..and now it wont start at all..HELP PLEASE.......

Soy CAN help prevent prostate cancer as it inhibits prostate cancer cell growth. Now, excessive soy intake may not be beneficial anymore but may increase the chances of developing cancer in women. That is when vegetarians take them in excess. As a vegan, i don't have problems about it because I make it sure I don't incorporate too much soy products on my diet mainly because there are alot more foods that are vegan that can be eaten. Why would my car stereo system crackle and turn off when I turn right?

Its messed up. My audio system consists of a head unit and 4 speakers in a 91 honda prelude. When I turn right the right penger door speaker crackles, and the entire audio system "turns off", no sound at all. When stopped its fine, and when I turn left, it sounds great. I think there must be some botched wiring somewhere, but any ideas or suggestions would be nice.

Ipod touch audio problems?

When I plug my ear buds into my ipod touch, some sound goes through the ear buds, but most of the sound just comes out the speaker and everyone can hear it. This is a 64 gigabyte ipod and I just got it for Christmas. It is brand new and I cannot see something is already wrong with it. It has not been dropped, sat on, or anything else. It just happened when I took the ipod from my JBL speaker system that is made for ipods. My ear buds have a control for sound and the ipod does not respond. I have never owned an ipod, just an mp3 so I might just be missing something.

I suspect your understanding of economics is rooted in some other system other than capitalism. One would be led to believe by this question that the president is solely responsible for economic conditions and free market conditions have no relative bearing. This is an unfortunate belief of those who look to government to run their lives and then blame the same should free market conditions not conform to their belief. In addition, you seem to not understand that legislative as well as executive branches set spending and policy. With that said, spending and policies do not determine economic well being in totem. Palmer house for sure. The lobbies are fantastic and the location is near everything you will want to do in a day. If you are there on a Sunday and have some cash to spend do the brunch!!! They have a high tea and I believe it is around 4:00 p.m. It is fun and a great place to people watch. The Palmer House also has a great history. It originally opened the day before the Chicago fire. Burned down the next day and was rebuilt to the splendor that it is today. Have a great day in Chicago!

OK, using your criteria here are some items: Air Conditioning/Heating should blow cool/hot depending on the mode. Filters should be clean and there should be no odd noises coming from the units. Plumbing should be looked at closely. Look for water stains on walls, floors, and ceilings. Try all the faucets and see that the water comes out clear. There should be no noises when turning the water on or off. Plumbing fixtures should not be rusty, chipped, or dented. No cracks in sinks or toilets. The water heater should not make any noise when it comes on. Electrical fixtures should not have any black marks around them and there should be none around switches and outlets. Buy a small circuit tester that plugs in and stick it in several outlets to see if there's a ground fault or other defect. Turn on every light and fixture you can find and see if a breaker trips or fuse blows. Make sure the house has working smoke/carbon dioxide detectors. Look at the floors and see if the carpet or floor covering is buckled or has wrinkles. That could mean a shifted foundation or cracked slab. Check the walls and ceilings for cracks. Basement, too, if the house has one. Look in the attic and see if there are water stains, etc. Walk around the outside and look for cracks in the exterior walls. You don't have to go on the roof, but you should be able to see if the shingles are curled up or some are missing or broken, etc. Write down everything you see or hear. Ask questions of YOUR real estate agent and other professionals. Narrow your choice down to a couple of houses with the least defects and then make your decision. At that point you should hire a licensed home inspector to go over the major mechanical and structural systems. Good luck.

Yes it was completely shocking and so unlike Lupin! I think Lupin was really stressed about having a potential werewolf baby, he felt guilty, as you would. He wanted to do something reckless and get away. Even though Harry could have come across as a bit mean to Lupin, he definitely did the right thing by telling Lupin to go home to his family. Dog Biting Inhibitation?

Since i was little i have been fond of German shepherds,but wanted a certain specimen a big stocky straight back one. I eventually found a breeder in Leeds and he gave me a Czech working line German shepherd. I never heard of a working line dog, but ever since i got one i have been really interested in the dog protection criteria. My cousin knew this guy who has two German shepherds and works them, so he gave me his number and ever since we have been good friends. He introduced the pinch collar to me and said if he is going to do protection with my dog i need to get his obedience good, so when you say sit he has to do it without holding back, when he looks at you on a heel you don't bribe him using a ball he looks at you because you tell him to. So i listened to him and he showed me how to train with a pinch collar which is called pressure training which my dog could handle. Today he got a bite sleeve on, and my dog was biting him just as a game, he said we need to build up his drives now, then he will apply pressure and pain so the dog is stiumlated by drives but doesent see it as a game. What my querie is does that sound about right what you need to do getting a protection dog?, obviously i know not every dog can be a protection dog, it needs to have it in the genes, and even then they have it in their head but you need to bring it out.

A lot has changed in just 10 years time, 50 years time is way way different. Parents aren't parents, they're friends, there is too much violence in the world, there are too many distractions with all the electronic things. People use to read books for entertainment and learn things. Kids played outside until dark even when it was cold. They helped their parents around the home without complaint. Moms stayed home and watch the kids and the food was home made not some fattening unhealthy fast food junk. Kids have always had peer pressure, but now there is even more. A lot of kids had before marriage but not in middle school, usually when they were 16 or 17 and it was an embarrment if girls got pregnant, Not anymore. was never talked about or done until marriage. Kids didn't argue that much with their parents, if they did they'd get their s kicked. Now it's not politically correct to straighten your kids out by the seat of their pants. What will the next generation be like. OMG! I don't even want to imagine.

Just because the law says gays are not married they'll still live together, love each other and sleep together. So why deny gay people the tax incentives straight couples get? 3 out of our 5 cats began vomiting white foam, several days apart. House is cat-proof, no strings/cleaning products/plants/etc. First cat went to ER, no fever but severe gastric distress. Xray showed enlarged colon and shrunken kidneys. Put him on IV fluids, took to regular Vet who administered iodine test in stomach. Definite blockage, unknown if foriegn body/tumors or severe gastritis. 2 days later, second cat vomited white foam/smacking lips. Got to Vet (third Vet) in two hours, slight fever/normal Xray/good red and white blood counts/negative feline leukemia and AIDS but put in hospital as precaution and on IV fluids SHE WILL NOT EAT, still in hospital. Her Xray did show a hairball. Now, 24 hrs later, third cat is vomiting white foam. Three different Vets cannot tell me what is happening, I have paid $2,800 so far and cats are still sick and vomiting white foam. Please help if you can, they are indoor only.

Just do not give her anything that she might try to give the nestling that isn't safe. Do not worry about the night time for 6 hours. Birds sleep too.

Simple yet effective yamaha banshee mods?

im running an 0'9 banshee (yes they still make them outside of the u.s) and im wondering about any modifications that i could make to make it go faster, produce more torque etc... i already have a custom exhaust on it (not sure what kind, think it might be pro racing or something like that, its not pro circuit though) and reed valves (also if you could tell me what they are that would be nice) and a couple of mods that dont affect the speed like custom tyres, full skid plates and custom handlebars. i've read about boring the engine and lightening the flywheel. if you could explain what these mods are and how to do them that would be nice :) and any other simple things like that. im not asking to be directed towards expensive racing exhausts and boost bottles ( whatever they are). just some simple things to improve the banshee would be much appreciated

I bought stuffing to be baked inside of the turkey and now I have decided not to cook it inside the turkey because I have so many places to be and I need to conserve my time.
